I went to Akron Materials with very little knowledge. All I knew was that I wanted a “live edge” piece of wood. The one guy in the shop was very busy, but he let me know he would be with me shortly. After about 10 minutes John came over, and the amount of knowledge and time he took to explain and point out the various species of wood available, was amazing.
