Excellent care and attention towards my 7 month old. She has been continuously sick with ear infections and I was able to communicate that with her pediatrician resulting in a referral to ENT. Our family recently relocated from out of state and Akron Children's (specifically this location) made us feel right at home during a sick period for our child. I’m extremely disappointed in this Urgent Care. My daughter was the only patient there and with her symptoms, she needed some lab work done. The doctor even agreed about having lab work completed but the Urgent Care doesn’t draw blood, even though there is an open lab onsite and several nurses sitting right there not actively involved with patient care. Very kind staff.
What can I really say about this other than my last two appointments have been disgusting. I brought my 11 year old here a few weeks ago for severe pain and they turned her away to an er. Now here I am with my son who has severe sore throat, headache, nausea. Front desk said she signed him in at 10:40 am for an appointment for 11:40 am. We came from out of state—we were in and out, which was a nice surprise. Had a great experience and the staff were all very friendly and knowledgeable. I made sure to star on google maps in case we ever need to come back while we are visiting.
