Hands down, my favorite meal I’ve ever had. I came for the tasting menu in August 2023 and told my friend who knows far more about the culinary world than I do that they’re probably going to get a Michelin star. She disagreed and I’m happy she was wrong. Even after going to a two Michelin star restaurant about 5 days after we visited Akoko, to me this was a better overall experience from food to drinks to atmosphere. I had an amazing personalised experience, highly recommend. The ambience, staff, food everything was topnotch. Special Thanks to Jasmine, Diana, Aliyah and Genesis and the bartender as well. Everyone was amazing. Will surely return.
A disclaimer on price: if ordering a tasting menu and drinks, expect to drop 400 GBP / $500 USD here. The food was uniformly excellent and inventive, with flavors I hadn’t tasted before.
