Ark is trustworthy, honest, conscientious, respectful, polite; not to mention extremely knowledgeable and professional. AKO did a bathroom reno in a 90 yr old coop building. They removed a bathtub and installed a tile shower floor and glass enclosure and moved shower plumbing from one wall to another. They were truly professional! They knew what permits were needed and worked smoothly with the coop board, they were responsive and meticulous. I am so happy with my bathroom, which was cramped and narrow, and now feels expansive, (still narrow) Prices comparable to others, but the work is beautiful.

AKO Builders did a great job on my recent kitchen renovation. Ark, the owner is easy to work with and his team is professional and does excellent work. The work behind the walls is as nicely done as the walls themselves and things in front of them. If you’re in need of a contractor who is insured, knowledgeable, a professional with workers who are craftsmen, look no further, AKO Builders and Home Improvement is EXACTLY who you want. We chose AKO Builders to build our new composite deck and we could not be happier. Ark is extremely knowledgeable, professional, fair, and a real pleasure to work with. He stopped by every day to check on the progress and to go over details with us. He provided helpful insight into the design and choice of materials, particularly the rails and skirt.
