Just went and duplicated my car key got mugged. What a rip off. I thought I had a chipped key and agreed to pay what they asked for which is $75 dollar. Then the guy cut a key without letting me know that my key doesn’t have chip and just regular key. Charged me $65 plus tax which came out to be $69.71. Don’t do business with this company. They will steal anyway they can from you.

I had a great experience with AKM Charlotte Locksmith Shop. The technicians were excellent—knowledgeable and professional. I was quoted $400 for a replacement key fob after my son lost my car key. They came out on Sunday to check things out and told me they’d be back first thing Monday morning. However, they didn’t arrive until around noon. Once they got started, it took about four hours to program the new key to my car. It wasn’t a Nissan key but a universal key they provided, and it works perfectly.
