Dr. Akkineni is very thorough and takes the time to understand my issues and concerns. She is very kind, knowledgeable and always asks the right questions. I've been seeing her since 2018 and have always been very pleased. I've even convinced my husband to make her his PCP. She's a topnotched board-certified physician specializing in internal medicine and geriatrics. I totally recommend her as a qualified physician and will continue using her as my PCP.
Father in law who has dementia went to Madhavi Akkineni, MD and was not prescribed anti psychotics after mother in law begged her too. We end up weeks later in ER because of a episode where he was delusional and hostile which could have been prevented. Psychiatrist that saw him in ER was appalled the primary care physician (Madhavi) had not supplied him with anti psychotics.
Doctor AKINENI is the best Doctor I have ever seen in my 68 years of life. Very caring good listener and gets to the bottom of all the issues. Very thorough and knows her stuff. I like the fact she specializes in Geraitrics. I highly recommend this doctor.
