I had to have a style for a women's conference, and my stylist Akila did not disappoint. Her whole vibe is refreshing. She is professional, listens to what you want, and truly delivers. I waited several months to write this review because I genuinely like Akila and didn’t want to sound punitive. However, the lasting damage to my hair needs to be addressed. Note: The severe hair damage was not the reason I ultimately decided to leave this stylist. She was given grace and the opportunity to correct her mistakes with my hair. Akila did an amazing job on my daughter’s boho box braids! My daughter is so happy with her hair, and that makes me happy too. The whole experience was great, the atmosphere was fun and relaxed. We were talking, joking, listening to music, and Akila made us feel completely comfortable from start to finish. If I could give more stars, I definitely would! Highly recommend!
Akila ensures that everyone leaves her chair feeing like the baddest in the room. She’s not satisfied until you’re beaming leaving her chair, and her dedication to you having healthy and happy hair and a happy heart are evident.
Akila started my locs 4 years ago and has been the only person to touch my hair since. She’s professional, quick, talented beyond measure, and is educated in what it takes to take care of all hair types. If i were you I’d book soon!
