I get my hair cut and beard trimmed by Jacob W. here at Akida clips. I actually followed him from his last place. Jacob is a thoughtful, kind guy, and an excellent barber. He does what you ask, and has good suggestions for trying to repair the mistakes I made in my own beard trimming in-between cuts, haha. This is our 2nd haircut by Akida and both experiences have been amazing. He was so great with my 6yr old. This is the best barbershop in Albany by far.

Incredible vibes. Immaculate cuts. Welcoming, comfortable and truly an enjoyable experience all around. Jacob is the GOAT. His ability to communicate with his clients makes him very efficient and consistent with his results. He will not disappoint. If you are looking for a new barber. He’s your guy.
