Aki offers a dining experience that feels very different from a typical sushi restaurant. Housed in a small converted home with only about seven tables and a sushi bar, it has an intimate atmosphere that makes you feel more like you're dining in someone's home than at a busy restaurant. If you are ever in the area please make a reservation here. We are on a cross country roadtrip and we’ve had sushi in every major city. This is by far the freshest and most delicious sushi we’ve had. Not to mention the staff are so sweet, they made sure we got a table even though we didn’t make a reservation and they were full. The atmosphere is amazing watching the men work at the sushi bar. Would reccomend this place to everyone!
Wow, finally I found the best sushi on the Northshore and it’s not even a competition. I got the Atlantic salmon to start, Hawaiian salad, and the little rice roll. All were amazing. Fish is fresh and great quality, service this evening was perfect as well. See you tomorrow
Honestly one of the best sushi experiences I've had in my life. On top of that the best sushi I've had in my life. We ordered a crunchy roll as a reflex cause it's just something we normally get with our sushi order and the shrimp and eel sauce on it just took us out. Phenomenal. I had the wagyu tataki. Not one was this our first impression of the restaurant but it was our first wagyu experience. Chef oui knocked it out of the park. Can not wait to come back and try more
