I've had Denny and Mark care for my 1980 Targa over 15+ years and have trusted their work, their word and their performance. While I have the prescribed maintenance performed, I've had them "rebuild" my engine, including performance upgrades which continue to perform to my expectations 10 years later! I can and do recommend them to new and pre-owned Porsche owners without reservation, period!
I have always been impressed with the Shop "Akers" I brought my 1991 964 into the shop last year after driving it down from Alaska. I had them do a oil change, install a new O2 sensor, and do a general look over. Great service, friendly staff. I then drove the Porsche down through Oregon, California and into Nevada without any issues. Nothing quite like driving down the coast highway in a air-cooled Porsche!
You simply cannot do better elsewhere. The value, service, and knowledge are incomparable. They have redone my brakes, my motor, and several other services on different cars with the same result....excellent work. I could not provide a higher personal recommendation.
Great shop with exceptional service. They have been in the business longer than all other shops in the area and it shows in the attention to detail and quality service.
Took my '63 Porsche in for a clutch job. Mark Akers gave me an estimate, and they came in right as promised. Also asked for a check of the brakes. Very, very glad I did. They found a dislocated brake lining up front and two leaking cylinders in the rear. And while they were pulling the engine for the clutch, they noticed a cracked fuel line from the body to the engine.
