Going at 6pm on a Thursday was a great experience. Not too many people in the restaurant yet, so my husband and I got to sit back and enjoy a relaxing and amazing meal at Aker. It was our first time trying A5 Wagyu, and it did not disappoint! The flavors and presentation were outstanding. Our waitress Anna took excellent care of us and made sure our night was unforgettable. Thank you for making our 5yr anniversary special!
Food was solid. The restaurant itself was unbearably hot and service was a little slow (probably because it was so hot in there so I don’t blame them) Our group ordered a mix of shared plates and rolls. Edamame, shishito peppers, and hanabi were my favorites. The Ahi Zen, Pais Inferno and Citrus Sunshine rolls were all good. Would go again in winter months when I wouldn’t melt at the table.
Excellent food
The food is incredible, and the service is as well. Definitely try their omakase or go during Tuna Fight Club, those were both great experiences with amazing food. We had Ana and Cameron as our servers and they were incredibly kind and knowledgeable and made an already amazing experience even better, so ask for them when you go as well!
