Okay drivers this place is kind of crazy when you enter the gate first of all they take forever to answer the phone at the gate so plan on being there for a good 5 minutes at the gate. Second shipping and receiving is all the way around the very back of a poorly designed tight yard. Once you get back there the docks are good there wide open well somewhat you had the 90 degree the shipping and receiving office is all the way around the back of the plant. Other than that they unloaded me within an hour I'm getting in the door

Akebono US is poorly managed. New employees are not provided the proper training to be successful. In fact, the Japanese support staff purposely do not show American employees what they need to know to be successful when requested. In addition, there is poor moral. The employee turn-over rate is about 20% and all US site are loosing money and laying off recently hired employees.

Akebono US is poorly managed. Many new employees which were recruited were not told the truth about Akebono's financial condition. All US site are loosing money and laying off recently hired employees. Now announcements of plant closure. Don't waste your time looking for job there.
