I was in perimenopause and wanted to find someone to help with my symptoms and prescribe hormones. In Dr Akbars office, I had a question and she pushed a pedestrian pamphlet in my face and just said, “read up on your own”. No one ever calls back.
By far the worst experience of my life . Sent my mom there and she came back home crying, she said she never wants to go back to this atrocious dr again. I should report her but I am leaving the decision to my mom. She spoke to her do badly that now my mom is gonna need some serious therapy to recover from it. NEVER GO TO HER !!!!!!!!
I have been a patient of Dr. Akbar for a few years. She started me on a weight loss plan with medication last April and the results have been AMAZING! I struggled with my weight for several years after I had a total hysterectomy and with Dr. Akbar’s encouragement and expertise, I’ve lost over 60lbs! I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Akbar she is amazing!!
