I wish I’d spent more time at the Akatsuka Orchid Gardens but we were trying to catch a flight! I bought a “Volcano Sunset” orchid in July, which bloomed in January. It’s gorgeous. The staff packed up my orchid for the flight back to Northern California. This is a great, no-pressure-to-buy place to learn about orchid cultivation and view beautiful blooms. There is a gift shop and restrooms. The staff helped me choose a plant and answered all of my questions. Thank you, Akatsuka!
