I have been to Akatsuka Orchid Gardens two times and the flowers are absolutely amazinzgly beautiful! The staff are so kind and helpful, it makes for a delightful experience, and I know the plants that I have brought home appreciate all the help I get as well! Mahalo to Akatsuka Orchid Gardens and the amazing staff! Looking forward to my next visit!!!!!

Went to the in-person location and had a great experience. Orchid selection was substantial and well-priced and organized. Staff were very friendly and knowledgeable and a great help. A must-see for anyone in Hilo looking for some flowering souvenirs and orchid-enthusiasts alike.

I, excitedly, was able to order a Monn. Millennium Magic Witchcraft (they sell out fast online and local ohio green houses get picked clean of any exotic orchid) from Akatsuka Orchid Gardens a few days ago and was delivered very quickly. I received a much bigger box than I anticipated my 4” pot to arrive in and here’s why: The orchid was packed as if it was a volatile substance that could explode at the slightest nudge. We have a house in Papaikou and spend most of our time in San Diego. My husband wanted to bring plants back to California so we ordered 3 orchids. The packaging was amazing and came so quickly! One of the orchids already has buds for flowers. Thank you so much! This place is great!!
