Dr. Rusia is very knowledgeable and compassionate. He is reassuring and kind. He takes the time to listen to my concerns. He explained what is happening with my heart and why he was making the decisions that made. So I could see how the decisions he was making were best for me. I’m feeling very good and my blood pressure has finally stabilized. I’m a strong person and he has helped me find my strength again!
Dr. Akash Rusia has been one of the few doctors who truly takes the time to look deeper. He has been very thorough in trying to determine the cause of my cardiomyopathy and didn’t just accept things at face value. What really impressed me is that he recognized my iron levels were not optimal—even though they were technically in the “normal” range. Most doctors would have overlooked that, but he didn’t. I'm not sure how one writes a review of a hospital. I'm still alive so I guess that's good, the nurses were nice and the doctors give me drugs, what can one complain about 😁
