Great place for a lot of hardware needs. You get immediate direction and help on questions. You don't need to chase around looking and waiting for an associate because they are right there for you.Very neighborly.

Fantastic Stihl service shop! There is an old joke (not joke) sign that says "Shop Rates $50/hr, $75/hr if you watch, $100/hr if you tried to fix it yourself." I had the opposite - and WAY BETTER THAN I HAD ANY RIGHT TO EXPECT - experience at Akard. I had tried to fix my Stihl string trimmer but I couldn't quite get it right. I think the Akard/Great Lakes Acr service guys felt sorry for me because 1) they discounted the price of the right part after I bought the wrong part somewhere else 2) they fixed it so it runs better th... read more
