I lived in an Akara property, one of the Kenect ones. Absolute nightmare.
Lived in Chicago Akara property. The building changed management companies 3 times since I’ve lived there for only 6 months. My apartment became uninhabitable and they wanted to do nothing about it. I moved out before how can I life without running water ? My apartment almost flooded. POORLY MANAGED AND I DO NOT RECOMMEND.
I wanted to acknowledge a recent change at Akara and how awesome that change has been. Kati Hughes recently came onboard with Akara Management and has gone above and beyond to ensure my renting experience is top notch. She helped me with not only renting here again this year but went the extra mile to follow up with me to get all needed documents and arrangements in line. Professional, fast, thorough. Props to whoever hired her!
