Good menu – I came here on a weeknight and did not experience a wait (which was surprising given the experience of other people). We were seated almost immediately, and the wait staff was extremely welcoming, friendly, and timely. Our drinks were almost always topped off.

Huge sushi menu and excellent quality – I ordered in and had a great experience. The sushi tasted fresh and the menu was really creative.

Great Japanese cuisine and sushi! – From start to end the food was amazing! I started with the sushi which tasted so fresh, then had some japanese cuisine from the main menu which was very delicious as well. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be going back soon!

Great neighborhood takeout – Akane is the best and most reliable neighborhood take-out sushi in the area. Great prices all around.. try the spicy tuna roll! Also the staff is very friendly and always knew me-- when I would walk in I didn't even have to tell them my order b/c they already knew it!
