For anyone interested in renting a car while in Hawaii, I would recommend Akamai Rentals! My mom and I were struggling to find a car that was reasonably priced at such last minute notice. This rental company was very easy to go through, they’re communicative, and more than willing to help. The man who helped us, Nathan, also helped us plan our day at the North Shore! Huge fan of Akamai rentals. Short walk from the hotel, clean car, about as simple as it could be… will definitely use them again.
Second time coming here to rent a vehicle, the best place to rent on the island bar none. Free parking within the lot saves major money. Great people, friendly service, 10/10!
Renting was super easy, and the car was clean/in good condition. The workers were very friendly, and helpful with tips for the best experience. Parking was super easy and close to many of the popular hotels. I will definitely rent a car from them when I’m back in this lovely place!
