Excellent experience of renting car here for a couple of days, really easy, super friendly staff. Many thanks to Nathan who helped us out and plan our couple of days exploring the north shore all his recommendations were 10/10 . Would 100% recommend and use again.
always rent here when we come to honolulu. location is perfect. let us park after 4 pm for free. car was perfect!! they take pride in their vehicles. washed and cleaned on site. owner very nice ( we took your advice and ate at Ted's Bakery TWICE!). parking is about $50 in area that is free when you rent here. just 1 block from the beach condos. Good job!!!
Bill was super helpful and very informative. No more than 15 minutes to secure a car, hassle free. Took us through a map of sights around the island and detailed overview of the car. Great service, very good price compared to big chain competitors. Use this local business over the others. Highly recommended, don’t waste your time and money elsewhere!
If you’re visiting Honolulu and need a car, I can’t recommend Akamai Rentals enough. They’re family owned, which was a huge plus for us — we always try to support local businesses when we travel. After shopping around quite a bit, they had the best pricing by far. No big corporate hassle, just straightforward and fair. Nathan was incredibly helpful.
