Had a great time fishing with my family and staying at the AK Fins & Feather’s cabins. Derek was a great guide who worked hard to allow us to have a good time on the Kenai River fishing for salmon, and had the right connections/referrals for nearby Halibut fishing. Derek is a fantastic guide and host. The property is beautiful and clean. He got us hooked up on plenty of fish and is extremely knowledgeable on all things local to the area. I would 100% stay at his property again and would recommend him for anyone looking to fish the Kenai or Kasilof rivers.
Spent the last of week May 2024 at AK Fin & Feathers. Awesome facility. We were early in the season and had the place to ourselves. Derek and Tamara are fantastic hosts. The cabin set up was great with all the amenities one could want. Derek did a great job guiding us on the river. If you're looking for a place that feels like home away from home this is it!
Derrick is about the nicest guy around. I’ve taken a ton of family members fishing with him and not only is it fun straight off the bank with him but he puts you on the fish! Seriously excellent customer service with him. Any time someone asks me who they recommend it’s always Derrick. Had to update with another review. Another spectacular trip.
