When you go to AJ's you seat yourself. We ended up sitting on the smoking section side because it was a booth available. The booth was dirty and a rag was on the table. A waitress walked by and took our drink order. The waitress who brought our drinks end up cleaning the table off after we had to ask her too. We ordered the Beasley's oysters and they were delicious. Best tasting oysters around. Have a small smoking section and walled off non smoking area
We have lived in Albany, Ga 8 years and this is the first time we ate here. The reason why is because we were told it was a bar and customers could smoke. We don't smoke or drink, so this is the reason we never stopped in. Well, We were riding by, and my wife said, Pull into the parking lot and let her walk in and check it out. I'm glad we did because there's 2 entry doors, one for smokers and other non-smokers... We split a fried seafood platter that was very reasonably priced. It had a good portion of seafood. Bad food. Ok service . Plz don’t eat here !!! They don’t cook fish right!! They will fool you with the fish and give you the wrong fish you ask for .
