Super nice but I experienced a lot of unprofessionalism. I waited in the lobby for 40 minutes while she finished someone else. No acknowledgement of her lateness when she came out to get me. Her website said my appointment would take 2.5 hours I was there for 4 hours. The products she used are nice quality but it took her 1hr to wash my hair. Only because she kept leaving the suite. AJ is an amazing hairstylist!! She’s very knowledgeable on natural hair care. I started my natural hair journey and was so lost until I started going to AJ’s. She went over in great detail how to maintain my hair and what products are best for me.

I went to AJ for this past weekend for instalocs, after a consultation. She was very knowledgeable, professional, and did a beautiful job installing my instalocs. I also purchased products from AJ in order to properly care for my hair. In addition, I will continue to see AJ for my re-twist and Loc maintenance. I’ve been taking my two younger children to AJ’s for over two years now and we were happy to have found her! She is very into hair AND scalp care. My daughter has lovely locs and son wears long handsome braids. AJ comes up with fantastic styles that we all love.
