I should have not ignored the reviews before seeing this doctor. I called orlando health customer care for an appointment of annual physical check up. The customer care took all information from me and gave me an appointment with this Doctor. I saw the doctor and also informed him during the visit that this I want to do annual physical checkup. Very knowledgeable, methodical and analytical. Interested in the new patient medical history and life style.
Run far away from this Doctor!!! This Doctor honestly should not even be practicing because his lack of knowledge is just unbelievable! Prescribes things other Doctors (specialist in their field) say they don't recommend that I keep taking because the side effects out weigh the benefits and there's better choices than what I'm taking and that's not even a choice that they would offer. Dr. Patel has been very rude and uncaring to me within several visits, he documented false information on my chart...stating that I am a drug addict and an alcoholic, which is totally false. Even documented that my father is deceased, again false! Which demonstrates that he fabricated details without any foundation or clinical evidence. Without cause, he prescribed a high dosage of blood pressure medication that bottomed out my blood pressure and sent me into renal failure, causing a major hospitalization. Dr. Patel is great. He’s super easy to talk to and listens, which makes a huge difference. He’s got a great sense of humor that helps make appointments way less stressful. You can tell he really cares and is always willing to help however he can!
