It seems this place has closed down permanently - I'm saddened as it was my favorite sushi spot in the neighborhood. I hope the owners read this - yall were lovely and I appreciated that my order was remembered- no wasabi or soy sauce haha. Hope things go well for you!

Finding this place saved me. I was working on a play for a couple of months around the corner and was always looking for something affordable, relatively healthy and close. Luckily Yuri was a block away. A roll or two and a miso soup under $20 anywhere in the city is nearly impossible to find. Add the fact that their fish is always fresh and tender, from salmon and tuna to soft-shell crab. An easy bite on the go for anyone in Hell’s Kitchen.
