When changing my GP, I was told I would not have issues accessing my prescription medication. Upon requesting that it be set up, I was told by the doctor that I would have to wait for around 2 weeks until after their shared care meeting had taken place. I then called them again after around this time and they told me once again to wait for the meeting to go ahead. The mental health nurse (male) in 2021 had poor knowledge on ADHD. He was completely unqualified to talk about this topic or possibly had unresolved biases not reflecting modern science. Would recommend neurodivergent folks going elsewhere for mental health concerns.
