We had spray foam installed in the attic last year, and the difference this summer is incredible. Previously, the A/C would run all day and still couldn’t keep up. Even with it set low, the house would hover in the upper 70s on hot days and the system never shut off until evening. Now the A/C hits the set temperature and holds it, even during heat waves like today. We have it at 70 degrees and the house stays there comfortably all day. So glad we did this. The comfort and performance improvement is huge.
I have to say I'm impressed with Joel Berkowitz and the team at Airseal Insulation Systems. They are professional and not pushy. Joel explained exactly what will happen, so we will be comfortable with the plan. Also after the insulation we realized that the old existing spotlights wouldn't work with the insulation, and he fully reimbursed us ($500+) to have them replaced with ones that are IC rated. Would definitely recommend!!
