Don’t expect a suite level experience as you might find at the Shangri La in Ulaanbaatar but if you want somewhere clean, quiet and really well priced then look no further. A 70’s style building which probably hasn’t had a refurb but doesn’t need it either. Nothing fancy but a comfortable clean bed.

Thanks Nik and V for being the ultimate hosts for my stay at the Airport Whyalla Motel. No ask was too much, and I had some unusual requests! For cleanliness, comfort, convenient location and a price that's hard to beat, you can't go past the Airport Whyalla Hotel! Thanks again Nik and V for a great customer service experience, I'll be back

Good spot.. clean rooms.. friendly and helpful manager.. I hadn't planned to stay in town for the night but found myself needing a room at 1030pm.. I tried to call a few motels.. i got no response from the 2 I called before Airport Whyalla Motel.. but old mate at Airport picked up and although he was at home and had to come back to the motel to check me in he was still very friendly and polite and welcoming when he got here.. I was very grateful for his efforts.. cheers mate! See you next time
