Airlie Guest House was the highlight of our entire trip to Australia. The setting was beautiful, and the hospitality was exceptional. My wife and I LOVED our stay here! After an overnight tour, we actually ended up canceling our hotel stay somewhere else so we could stay here again. Mick and the team were so accommodating, and put so much care and time into making sure the guest house is in top condition! Although some people may not like that it is a little outside of town (maybe a 5-8 minute walk), we actually really liked that we could just walk and get away from the business of town, the noise and bright lights for when we wanted to. De locatie is zeker 5 sterren waard. Het is een mooi verblijf en proper. Echter hadden wij wel de kamer met aparte badkamer. Ik vond jammer dat deze niet sluitbaar was daar er toch steeds persoonlijke spullen liggen op de badkamer. Ik vond nog een nadeel dat bij 3 nachten niet standaard de handdoeken ververst worden. Dit kon op vraag, maar dit zou in mijn ogen bij 3 nachten standaard gedaan mogen worden. Het ontbijt was enorm basic en moest zelf steeds bereid worden. Alles stond klaar in de frigo. Just left Mick & Megan’s beautiful spot a couple of days ago. A fantastic setting just 5 mins walk away from the hustle & bustle of Airlie beach town. They have created something really special, a real homely environment, beautifully presented where you can just hang out and relax with stunning views. Mick is on hand, should you require to offer his expertise on the area and his local recommendations are always spot on. Would definitely stay again should we be in the area. It was Top Banana mate!! 😀

Couldn’t recommend this place enough! The host (Mick) is fantastic and it is really impressive to see what he and his wife have built. You can feel the love and care they have put in the place. Thanks for having us and for the hospitality! See you again!
