I had a technician from Aire Serv come out to our home today to look at our air conditioning unit. The technician himself was very professional and spent nearly three hours troubleshooting. However, after all that time, he was ultimately unable to determine why our AC wasn’t working. The absolute worst service I’ve ever had for anything. We had issues with our unit for a year and they were called out 4-5 times and each time the technician would tell us that it’s just a dirty filter. We change it monthly. The unit finally went out and they quoted us 2800-3500 to diagnose the issue and then said it’d be anywhere from 8k-30k to put a new unit in. We went with a different company and got a new unit installed for 5500. Air serve is not only price gouging but their techs are useless.

I had an evaporator coil, leaking, which shut down the HVAC unit in my basement due to flood protection switch. The stressor was that we were leaving on a trip on Friday, and it was already Monday when it happened. I called local services with no response or any call backs.
