Daddy handed him over a business to run straight into the ground. Owners there maybe two days a week for a few hours if that. He’d prefer to be out golfing instead of saving his own company. There’s bottles of gas not strapped to anything just sitting there. They all smoke in the shop.. which I wasn’t aware you could anymore by the laws. Drunk dude always coming in hours late, drinking on the job. Owners only knowledge on welding is YouTube… daddy’s money though. Disgrace. I have worked here for almost ten years. And welding for over 30. While no shop is perfect, we strive to get better everyday. With the work force the way it is, we get applicants that aren’t always forthcoming or honest about their work ethic or skill level. We try to adjust accordingly, but there’s always someone that slips through until you can actually see for yourself how they are.
