I just returned from the Airbus Grand Prairie Facility for the course on the H145. Our instructor Cristobal Sanchez was Top Notch. Always concerned with making sure we understand and asked at almost every turn of the page if we had questions. I felt in great hands although very new to the Helicopter industry, this class permitted me to grow in knowledge and understanding of all the principles behind this highly technological aircraft. 1 month went by relatively quickly. Stay away from working for the security company (SRT) at this place…. You’ve been warned!!!! They show favoritism to their friends that work for the company… DO NOT WORK AT AIRBUS.. Daniel Smith is the most rude security manager to work for. He has no people skills, he can’t hold an adult conversation, he vapes inside the booth, didn’t know that was allowed… he bends and tweaks the rules for his friends but treats other employees like we are beneath him… again, I didn’t know vaping was allowed inside such an executive place ... read more
