Mold was detected by the technician during my HVAC maintenance visit. To stop further growth, they fitted a UV lamp, cleaned the coils, and treated the mold. In order to get rid of allergens and spores, I also decided to get my air ducts cleaned completely.
I got my air ducts cleaned after noticing poor airflow. The technician, Joseph, was knowledgeable and showed me how much dust was blocking the vents. He found a plastic spoon in one duct; how it got there, I'll never know! The cleaning was noisy and stirred up some dust, but Joseph used covers to keep things tidy. The airflow is better now, and the air smells cleaner.
My two dogs shed a lot, and I noticed fur was collecting around my vents. I decided to get my air ducts cleaned, and the results were amazing! The technicians pulled out so much pet hair and dust that I was honestly embarrassed. Now, my home smells fresher, and I’ve noticed way less shedding circulating in the air..!
