Delayed Luggage. It is so disappointing that personal interaction has disappeared from services. Our luggage did not make a transfer from Melbourne to Auckland and then onto our flight to San Francisco. We were told at SF airport that as our luggage was still in Auckland we would have to submit an on-line claim. 24 hrs later no luggage and no updates from Air NZ on the status of our luggage. Service and inflight experience is great. Their booking policies are a tad inflexible though
Flew Business from San Francisco to Auckland earlier this week. The dinner was one of the best that I've ever eaten on a plane, and the service was pretty good too. However, the downsides were a truly terrible bed (it's designed for short people) & a pretty desperate breakfast offering. Overall, very average ... hence the score of three.
