After scheduling a deep cleaning because my parents' house was always stuffy, the technicians cleaned the furnace, blower, and sanitized the return vent, removed a lot of dust and even some old insulation, and explained the advantages of coil cleaning for increased efficiency. There were numerous mold spots inside the system when Mark arrived to clean the air ducts. I had no idea mold could spread so easily through the ducts. He treated the mold and described how allergies can be caused by the spores. After the thorough cleaning of the furnace, I heard less noise coming from the system. After a kitchen renovation, our home was covered in dust no matter how often we cleaned. Rachel came out and explained that construction debris often settles inside ducts. She performed a deep duct cleaning, blower cleaning, and sanitization, pulling out drywall dust and small pieces of plaster. She also cleaned the dryer vent while she was here.
