Worst Service EVER! – Seriously, I was appalled by the service. I have never neith were the other people at my table have been treated so bad. When they dropped the plates and drinks they would leave it at the edge and no hand it to you. They would be pointing at our table and talking to each other. The food was alright it left a lot to be disired, the mango lassi that I had was too sweet.
Wow! – I had the goat masala and it was amazing. We tried a few appetizers and they were also very good. Prices were reasonable for this city. I will eat here again the next time I am in town. Just plain old good indian food. Good sized portions too.
best indian food in boston – This is by far the best Indian food in Boston for the money (and I am Indian, so I have the right to say this!) We ordered their take out religiously and ate inside whenever we introduced this secret find to a new friend. The food is consistently excellent and the servings are plentiful. My boyfriend and I always fight over who gets the leftovers. I could understand why some people may walk right past the restaurant since it's garden level and doesn't seem too enticing I suppose they could reloca... read more
Really tastey food. – India Quality was my main stop for Indian food when I lived in Boston. Located close to downtown and Boston University, IQ has tastey food, as spicy or mild as you ask for, with a smallish, laidback, dining area that is still fancy enough that you might feel you should remove your Red Sox cap. The lamb tikkamasala is so tender. Try their kormas as well. They also have a good selection of vegetarian dishes. Food is served in traditional Indian way. If you go in a group, you might want to order a few dish... read more
MY GO-TO INDIAN! – When I need a good chiken tikka and saag mushroom, I call my friends at India Quality for take-out. There is no better restaurant in Boston. I recommend this to anyone who loves Indian food or wants to try it for the first time.
Yummy! Great Service. – India Quality delivered food to me and my boyfriend outside of their usual dining in service, saving us a few bux. They were timely, and the food was so yummy!
A unique, high-end Indian experience in Kenmore Square. – The Scene Framed prints and glass tables adorned with fresh bouquets and needlework make this one of the more formal Indian restaurants you'll find in Boston. Sitar music mingles with the aroma of curry, herbs and other spices, while a diverse clientele--students from nearby Boston University, Indian patrons and loyal professionals--trades dishes. Servers, dressed in white shirts and ties, are incredibly gracious. The Food Start with the mixed platter appetizer, an as... read more
Everything I Hoped For – Tasty authentic Indian food that is reasonably priced. I love the vindaloo dishes. There is nothing like some pratha bread with some spicy hot curried lamb on it and some long grain rice. Great portions and ambiance (the outside of the restaurant makes it look decievingly trashy). Highly recommended.
If you just walk past you're missing out – I have to admit that the name turned me off for quite some time. A quality establishment shouldn't have to advertise that. I eventually tried it out as part of my quest to find the best Indian food in Kenmore. I would go so far as to say that I found the best in the city. Many flavorful options make it possible to order a different delicacy every time. I prefer the Aloo Palak, tender baby potatoes cooked in spicy green spinach. My boyfriend always picks the Chicken Muglai; he swears... read more
