Woke up to find that, just as cold weather was settling in, my furnace was blowing cold air. Turning it off and on I could tell it was trying to start, but the burner would turn off as soon as the fan started. Very mysterious. Called to get a repair appointment, and it was only a couple of hours later the tech arrived. He quickly found the issue - a pressure switch with a bit of something stuck in it. It was back to full operation on a few minutes. I've been comfortably warm ever since.
