Buyer Beware, Bill and his staff took advantage of us Senior Citizens, charged us $8,000.00 dollars, did not repair his own inspections pre buy and told us “our new purchase now is running like a Rolex” we broke down 4 hours after and left us stranded, for weeks. We were taken and reporting him to Florida Attorney General. No Compassion.
Billy completed an engine survey for a pre-purchase of a 35' Silverton. He was recommended by our surveyor and was a pleasure to meet and learn from him. Super knowledgeable in his field and went our of his way to explain things to us. He allowed us to watch while he did his work and communicated to us all his findings right on the spot. Billy is a extremely an knowledgeable and very thorough mechanic . Very honest friendly and easy to work with . I consider myself to be an extremely competent boater and mechanic and Billy thoroughly Impressed me with his inspection of my boat. In a matter of a couple hours Billy found problems with the boat that the previous owners mechanic had been trying to diagnose for a couple or years I would HIGHLY recommend Billy for anyone looking for a boat inspection or repairs!!
Billy did a great job on the engine survey of the boat I purchased. He was very knowledgeable and professional as he conducted the very thorough inspection of the engines. His expertise didn't stop there as he also checked other components on the boat. It was a great experience watching him and talking with him! He came highly recommended to me, and I highly recommend him to anyone looking for an engine survey!
Billy performed two diesel marine engine surveys for us, one Yanmar and another Cummins. On the Yanmars he discovered numerous previously undisclosed issues saving us $1000's in repairs allowing us to make a sound decision to walk from the deal. He is currently performing all the Cummins 8.3C servicing on our new vessel inclusive of coolers, oil/fuel filters and solving an electrical issue with an ignition switch. So far he and Elise have been a pleasure to deal with.
