I looked inside our wood-burning setup before the first cold weekend and the firebricks were covered in a thick layer of black soot. Didn't feel safe lighting a fire with that much gunk in the flue, so I found a crew nearby for a fireplace cleaning. They brought these long flexible brushes, cleared the chimney, and the fireplace has been drafting perfectly without any smoke coming back into the room.

We had just moved into the place and there was a noticeable layer of old dust inside several of the vents. I called around looking for affordable duct cleaning and ended up booking this company before heating season started. They cleaned out the registers and worked through the ductwork without leaving a mess around the house. I'm glad we got it done before we started running the heat every day.

Our electric bills had jumped noticeably even though we hadn't changed the thermostat much. When the technician checked the system, he showed us a couple of loose duct joints in the crawlspace where air was escaping. We went ahead with the duct sealing service to close those gaps. We're getting much better airflow in the rooms that used to feel weak.

Our living room fireplace had started pushing little puffs of smoke back into the room whenever we first lit it. We booked a chimney cleaning, and the technician removed a lot of black buildup from inside the flue and around the damper. The fireplace has been drawing much better since, and our living room doesn't end up smelling like smoke afterward.

After some flooding in the basement, we started noticing a damp, musty smell whenever the bedroom vents were running. I also spotted some dark discoloration inside one of the vents, so we called them to check it out rather than guessing what it was. They inspected the affected areas and talked us through the mold remediation work they recommended before starting anything. I appreciated that they explained what they found instead of trying to scare us into doing more work.
