SHOCKED and STUNNED and not a little bit AMAZED ! $880 charged for a service on my 1976 2 ltr EFI Kombi. I commented “ outrageous!” Paul replied “ I don’t think so , we do a very comprehensive service, we take brake drums off to check for leaks etc “ Floyd was running badly, severe hunting , getting worse , hard to start and eventually would not start . I wouldnt take my worst enemy to these crooks. They charge $151 per hour and run up labour costs due to the rate. They will work on cracked engines for 6 months and hand it back to you cracked and lets start again after 13k spent. Then tell you they could have tested the crack by pressurising it. There are allot of other VW specialists for 1/4 of the price.
