It's not even worth a one star. This has been the worst place I have ever lived in. Over Priced Dog Kennel with all the smells that come with the dog kennel. Leaks, smells, puddles of urine in elevators, at the top of stairs near entrance, dirty, noisie, staff that can't be reached, a corporate office that doesn't return your calls. Great palce to live if you want to lock your dog inside while you are out and everyone else gets to hear the dog cry barking. My partner and I lived in one of Air Communities apartments called *********** for 3.5 years. The property manager, Page ********, charged us a pet deposit for our dog, $400, and pet rent of $75 a month. When we moved to a bigger apartment, we had to pay another pet deposit of $400. When we received our move-out statement, it stated we owed over $200 and didn't include our refundable pet deposits. The Fremont website states, "There is a refundable, one-time pet deposit of $300 per pet and a monthly pet rent of $35 per pet". ... read more
No integrity. It's a real estate investment company accountable only to its shareholders. They will s**** over tenants with no ethical accountability, really straddling the line for the very low bar of the legal accountability. Stay away from these people and do not rent from a property owned or managed by AIR.
This company puts profits above its' residents and has raised rent a ridiculous amount while barely maintaining the property. No additional services are being rendered and the management is sub-par. The customer service told me that it is not possible to speak with the people that make the decision to offer an astronomical increase in our rent rate as it is based on 'market rate' and they are 'too busy' to speak to me. I followed up with this parent company due to one of its property management subsidiary companies assigning costs and fees to myself that were not authorized in my lease contract. My experience was not a good one. The representatives at Bent Tree and Air Communities were dismissive and it was clear that residents (or customers) were not a priority.
