Updated on 4/15/25 Jim and his team at Air and Water Solutions continue to excel in their technical expertise and customer service. I was having issues with my heater (not heating properly). They diagnosed our thermostats needed to be replaced. Air and Water Solutions ordered state of the art thermostats as replacements that were covered under our home warranty. It feels that the biggest obstacle you have with a random contractor is often a lack of honesty. Businesses will charge a fee to come out to give a bid, telling you that they’ll take the cost of the fee off the total if you choose to go with them, but when you get the bid that’s three times a normal cost, you realize that their business model is in part doing worthless bids and just collecting a fee for driving. I was introduced to A&WS several years ago by my home warranty company. They have made several repairs on my HVAC systems plus some non-warranty items like installing zone dampers and new wifi thermostats. Most recent interaction in mid-January 2025 during the cold spell when we lost heat from our gas furnace. Jim and his team have been amazing to work with. When we moved into our home, which had been neglected for over 15 years, we ran into a lot of unexpected issues. Jim has been a lifesaver at every step. In the summer, our air conditioner stopped working just a couple of months after we moved in. Jim quickly identified the problem and repaired it on the spot.
