Aleksandra is an extremely warm and genuinely caring person; nurturing and maternal to the point that you feel so safe to be in her presence. With her compassion and her expertise, she does an amazing job in helping guide you back to yourself and I would recommend her to anyone seeking guidance on their journey to healing.
I’ve been seeing Dr. Tosovic-Yamashiroya for many years and I cannot recommend her enough! Her warmth and kindness made opening up effortless and I always felt heard when in our sessions. She has been a huge help with helping me better understand myself as well as helping me understanding my mental health and how to cope/ handle it. I am forever grateful for the care she has provided.
This isn't the place to go if you want to actually get better. I will have to give this place (and specifically this doctor) a 1 star review. Had a great start initially, but it quickly turned into her coming to my appointment later and later and taking on a lazy approach to the topics I would bring up in sessions. We didn't talk about anything I would bring up previously and it was basically a "how's your week been" meeting.
