I absolutely love Dr. Shilad. My husband and I selected him as our ob/gyn to manage our prenatal care and delivery of our daughter. Having 2 prior c-sections and doctors whose bedside manner and compassion was lack luster (coming from my perspective as a nurse and patient), Dr. Shilad was a fresh breath of air. He has been my gynecologist for over 14 years. He is very personal and takes his time with his patients.
So I am currently pregnant and have been looking for a good ob/gyn on zocdoc. I came across this place on zocdoc that “accepts” my insurance. I was really happy since they were opened Saturdays. The front desk didn’t explain to me that this doctor was out of network. I asked if the front desk if they take my insurance and she said yes but kept telling me my deductible was too high which I didn’t get if they take my insurance.
