Very Disappointed with this company, order a transmission, my technician installed it next day when it arrived , had a called from my technician that s a bad transmission, do not do reverse forward, the oil in it is black, found clutch metal debris in it, makes a whinnying sound and , have to wait three weeks for the delivery, as a right now I being waiting for a refund and for this company to pick up the transmission, No money return , my car still sitting in the shop, plus I will have to paid another installation feed for ... read more
I wasn't sure to purchase a used motor for by 20/20 Ford Escape it was a stressful time and the sales staff reassured me even sent pictures of my purchase and let me know that through any step ordering receiving and installation they were there to help me even with returns I have given them five out of five stars and recommend them anytime it was good experience through stressful times. I have been very pleased with the results highly recommend them they were extremely helpful thank you again staff at AM used auto parts.
Watch what you sign with this company. I gave them the VIN, they sourced the part and I signed the copy assuming they sourced the part correctly. They didn't. They shipped a 6 speed transmission and we needed an 8 speed transmission. The will try to add fees that aren't in the contract and they are absolutely not willing to work with you on trading out the correct part that should have been looked up by correctly by their personnel to begin with. Purchasing my used transmission through AM auto parts was ideal. They quickly responded with a quote. They held the part for me and it arrived sooner than estimated. The transmission has been in for two months now and working great!
Updated review: This company is trying to blame me for supposedly my mistake. But most people when buying parts that they need for their vehicle, wouldn't you think that either the customer or their mechanic would know what part they are needing to get their vehicle going? When you call and make sure you are ordering the correct part that you need and the salesman says yes, this part number is what your buying and then send the other part that is offered.
