I can’t recommend Shane enough. I brought him my turbo NA Miata and what started as a tune turned into a pretty long process of sorting through a bunch of little issues and getting the car dialed in. Shane has been absolutely incredible through the whole thing. We went through tons of logs and worked through AFRs, boost, drivability, A/C, emissions testing, and probably a dozen other little things. My experience with AIM tuning and with Shane, has been completely awesome! It can be nerve wracking spending that kind of money on a remote tune. But Shane is a very honest, trustworthy guy! He’s also very knowledgeable, especially with Miata’s specifically. One thing I was super impressed with, his level of patience. Found AIM Tuning and Shane just in google results for remote tuning since no one in Austin wanted to help me with my car. It's a 81 LTD with a big single turbo 351W running Megasquirt2 with a couple mods. I had one shop try to tune it, they had it 6 months and spent 4 hours actually working on it, but it came back worse than when I dropped it off. Just had my 1990 Mazda miata t25 turbo car tuned by Shane and it went great. He was super helpful during the entire tuning and even helped with troubleshooting the car. He was super patient when it came to me taking a couple days to send the datalogs over to him which was super nice. He doesn't rush the process and make sure your super happy with the tune when it done. I'm making 13psi and the car rips. Would 100% recommend anyone who needs a tune done.
Working with Shane to get my 91 turbo miata was great. Nothing but a good experience beginning to end. Car runs like a top and pulls great. 10/10 recommend getting your car tuned by him. Very informative and knowledgeable and even months later has no problem answering questions and helping when I want to up the boost a little lol Great dude, great tunes
