I have genuine mobility constraints preventing me from lying down flat without my shoulders subluxing. I called this clinic in advance to see if they could provide any accommodation whatsoever, or even provide breaks between each imaging sequence. They denied both accommodations pretty adamantly. I should mention, I’ve had numerous MRIs in my life in the various cities I’ve lived in, I have always been able to take breaks, or at the very least been provided a small wedge pillow/other accommodations. AIM was amazing today! Calm, attentive environment, very comprehensive. I did a consult with the radiologist Dr Lila (I can’t remember her last name), but she was absolutely phenomenal!! So much attention to detail, listened to my concerns, reviewed every inch of my scan with me, very intelligent, wonderful bedside manner. I learned so much from her!
