Aikido is the nurf bat of all the martial arts...not to belittle it but you spend all the time rolling and slapping the floor and smacking it as you land as you let your partner in training throw you to the floor. i dare you to do that as hard as you can on the cement, gravel asphalt etc..... and try not breaking your wrist elbow or shoulder. now try that as someone is punching you in the face. try to wrist lock someone as they are kicking you in the groin and or knee with a heavy shoe on..
