During our most recent ice/snow storm i had to go here since it was the only thing open for a severely infected abcess on my lip. To start off, look forward to waiting about 6 plus hours to even be taken back and the another 3 hours waiting in the back. When I was finally seen the doctor spent about 20 minutes with me, squeezed my lip, gave me a shot, and some antibiotics. I have been to a lot of hospitals in my lifetime because I have a lot of health problems. I've been in the hospital with pancreatitis for more than 2 days. I've been ignored. Left sitting in pain. Call button cut off. Nurses ignoring me. The techs are the only one that want to help and they can't do anything but get a nurse for certain things. The doctor left and didn't talk to me. Advocate came and told me she is going to try and work on it but, this is Horrible!!!! Don't go Here!!!

Waited for over 2 hours and never even seen registration or a room for my wife who was dealing with severe nausea and vomiting. Didn’t get seen so left after the staff had no idea how long it would have been to get back to be seen. We’ll look at different ER’s in the future.

I’ve been on hold for over an hour and no one told me why I’m on hold. I didn’t get information on what was wrong with me. Anytime I call I can’t finish a sentence, the person who picked up just puts me on hold. She was also rude every time

I am uncertain about the 1.8-star rating for this post, but nonetheless, I highly recommend Aiken Regional ER. The staff is not only kind, but the beds are also surprisingly comfortable and very clean, unlike MUSC, which is often plagued by chaos. The team was able to diagnose my issues effectively and demonstrated a strong ability to listen.
