At my first visit, she didn't listen to me and was rude. I gave her the benefit of the doubt and thought maybe she was having a bad day. However, at my follow up visit she was also dismissive, and I am taking my care elsewhere.
Let's talk. I received a phone call, regarding my virtual appt for the 6th of October. The Endocrinologist Team called to say they did not receive my referral. If I did not have the referral for them by tomorrow Oct. 3rd, they would cancel. They couldn't not wait a day or so. Last week I sent 3 emails with reports and images for the Oct 6th, appt. I made this appointment almost 6 months ago (because there was no availability) and I was told my issue was not an emergency as new patient. My private doctor which is not affiliated with NYP suggested that I see a specialist and I loved all of the care I have received in the past at NYP so I decided to wait to see this doctor only to find out that my medical appointment had been canceled because they did not receive my lab results from my private doctor.
