Aid for Women has been such a tremendous help and support to me throughout my pregnancy. At the beginning, I was unable to get an appointment with an OB, and I felt very uncertain and anxious. Aid for Women was there for me and provided my first ultrasound, which gave me so much reassurance during that time. Very sweet and helpful staff Update: I went exactly a year ago yesterday and saw my baby for the first time. Now my sweet little boy is 6months old. Come here even if you don’t have insurance, it’s free and they guide you toward whatever direction you want.
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Aid for Women! At the time I found the organization, I was self employed and didn’t have health insurance. I had to quit working because I was experiencing a lot of fatigue which was affecting my work. After 2 at home pregnancy tests, I confirmed my pregnancy with the organization and had my first ultrasound as well with them which was such an unforgettable experience for me and my husband. Aid for Women was a life saver 5yrs ago when I found out I was pregnant with my firstborn. RN Mary was very helpful assisting me with figuring out what I wanted to do next. Upon decision of keeping my baby, they told me about a workshop they offer throughout pregnancy, where as a soon to be first time mom came in very handy!
